I have 2 units 2-storey all-electric. the freezing of the lines begun in the past year, and the house. Friend came to inspect the property and it seemed to have some freon. Unfamiliar with the actual piece of home, but in a car that is more or less the same. Low freon freezes well.

Get a competent service companies out of service for the two units. In this way you can know where you are and what is wrong.
